Just got back from a fantastic stay with 4 friends at Bed and Net. The place, location and the staff are great! I would strongly recommend this fine establishment to all my mates!

Hope to stay again soon!

All the best,

The most excellent break I've had in years. Really felt at home and even got a cat to match my English one. Toro I miss you......

Fantastic and very Duch holiday. Allan and gis family are lovely people. You need to be a bit hip(PY) and cool tho' - NOT suitable if you have OCD !

My two girlfriends and I stayed in Apartment #2 just last week and we loved it! Everything about the stay was more than enjoyable; Clean & warmly decorated room, comfortable sleeping on both the futon/couch and the bed, easy and free internet access, tons of movies, and the staff was very very welcoming and offered suggestions for food and recreation. The location is perfect, close to trams, walking distance to Rembrandt Sq, there were even bikes for us to use for free - were just too short to use them - haha.
I would definitely recommend others stay here for a comfortable and more than accommodating stay. It felt very much like we were residents. PLUS there's a lovely dog by the name of Bertha (whom we miss), and she is super friendly as well and helped comfort us when we missed our dogs back home.
I will most definitely be staying here every time I return to Amsterdam.
Thank you, Allen, for the wonderful stay!

Stayed here for a weekend in the top floor apartment. We were very warmly greeted by a guy called Martin who gave us a quick guided tour of everything we needed to know. As it rained the entire weekend, we were glad of the large TV screen and attached computer with over 2000 movies. The place has free wi-fi. It's in a brilliant central location, 2 minutes from Rembrandtplein and you can smoke. It felt safe and secure. I'll definitely stay here again.

This was my second stay here. This time I brought my wife for our anniversary since she retired. We stayed for 3 weeks and didn't want to leave. I like a place that I feel comfortable in. Motels in the same price range and higher in Amsterdam don't compare. This house feels more like your staying with a relative you like. The staff is very friendly and willing to help in any reasonable way. Our room was very clean! We had apartment #2 with an amazing view of the Utrechtstraat and Kiezargraacht intersection.
There is plenty of room and relaxing in the lounge down stairs is a nice alternative to the room. There are plenty of good restaurants near by of various price ranges. If you like french, Cafe Bounjour across the street is wonderful. The Cheese Croisants at Tromp down the street are amazing!
You will be centrally located with quick access to trams and walking distance to everything.
The stairs are steep like every old Dutch house. But they are safe and easy and wide on the first 2 floors. Like any place in the center of Amsterdam, a good set of ear plugs helps to get a good sleep. There is always something happening that makes a little noise outside.
If you want to have a Dutch experience without the impersonal hotels, this is the spot to start it off!
I'll be back again in two years and this will be the place I stay!

We had a wonderful time staying in this unique and very fun house. Our host was very helpful and everyone we met there had a great attitude, including Bertha (we miss you!). I would absolutely recommend this place to young travelers or chill people looking for informal accommodations that are ideally located and full of friendly faces. Thank you so much Danny, we hope to see you again!

We had a really nice stay here. The place was well situated, we were near two of the most dynamic places in town with restaurants and places to go out. We were greatly welcomed and got some suggestions about what to do. The room was small but enough for us as we were out visiting all day and computer and internet were alredy in the room : very convenient. The bathroom was kinda special, it was funny :) Anyway great time and would go again another time !

Overall I enjoyed my stay here but there were some problems. Positives -Danny and Martin were very friendly and went out of their way to help me with any problems I had. -The location of the apartment is great, it's on a quiet canal outside of the more touristy central portion of the city. -The room and shared bathroom were clean. Negatives -When I first checked in there were several minor issues that needed to be addressed including non-working key, non-working wifi, and non-working computer keyboard. However, all of these issues were corrected very quickly. -The room is really small. I would not recommend it for two visitors. -The bed is extremely uncomfortable, I would have rather slept on an air mattress or couch. -There were mosquitoes in my room every night due to standing water on the roof and the poor sealing of the windows. -The other people staying there were very loud at night (5am), plus you can essentially hear everything in the room next door. I would definitely not stay in this room again, but I would stay in one of the larger rooms.

The apartment was exactly as advertised - clean, contemporary and with everything we needed for our stay. The place itself is centrally located and we walked everywhere we went. Danny and Allan were both very friendly, accommodating, helpful with tips and answered all of our questions. We recommend this place to anyone passing through Amsterdam.
